IT'S Architecture
IT'S is a research- and innovation-oriented practice founded in 2016 by Alessandro Cambi, Francesco Marinelli and Paolo Mezzalama. Its thesis: architecture as a long-duration object — designed to outlast trends, weather, and market cycles. My Villa is the studio's California practice and response to the climate challenges affecting the city of Los Angeles.
French Ministry of Culture recognition (NAJA). Italian National Architecture Prize. Numerous design competitions have been won and prestigious projects completed. Paolo Mezzalama is an Advisor to the American Academy in Rome.
